Once they arrive at our facility, we roast them in small batches, emphasizing our commitment to freshness.

Because every variety of coffee bean has distinct flavor notes that require specific roasting temperatures and times, our small-batch roasting approach allows us to maximize the potential of every bean. Our coffee is expertly roasted on a Joper Roaster, a high-quality machine manufactured in Canelas, Portugal. Joper has been crafting roasters since 1962, blending the rich traditions of Old World European craftsmanship with the latest technology. Furthermore, every batch of our coffee is roasted and packaged on the same day, ensuring optimal freshness.

We are committed to a 100% pledge: every cent of Gobena's profit is dedicated to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children around the globe. Our partnership with Lifesong for Orphans enables us to assist at-risk children and young adults in their journey toward better futures.

Our Humble Beginning

The essence of Gobena Coffee traces back to a heartwarming story that began in Ethiopia during the summer of 2007. An elderly farmer named Gobena discovered an abandoned baby girl near his home. Alongside his wife, they cared for the infant as best as they could for over a month. Recognizing that the baby needed more than they could provide, they walked five miles to the nearest town, where assistance was offered, and the child was given food and shelter. Named Eva, she was eventually adopted by a loving family from Illinois. This act of kindness inspired her adoptive family to establish Gobena Coffee, directing 100% of its net profits to Lifesong for Orphans. Product Highlights

Our Snicker Doodle coffee blend combines notes of cinnamon and hazelnut, creating a smooth and aromatic experience reminiscent of home-baked cookies. Additionally, our flavoring is gluten-free and allergen-free, containing none of the following: wheat, gluten, rye, barley or their derivatives, eggs, soy, seeds, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, legumes, seafood, fish, shellfish, celery, mustard, palm oil, sulphur dioxide, or sulphites. We use both natural and artificial flavorings to ensure an enjoyable taste in every cup.
